Dr. Mohammed is widely recognized for his expertise in litigation services, providing accounting expert opinions to the Saudi Courts in legal matters and liquidations. He regularly provides guidance on complex accounting matters to lawyers and judges.
He is a nationally recognized expert, he is frequently called upon as a lecturer and business advisory for companies and industry trade organizations. He has authored numerous local and national articles.
Dr. Mohammed has served as Senior Advisory to the Office of the Auditor General of Saudi Arabia and Consultant to the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions. Due to his active participation and keen interest in the profession of Accounting he was appointed as a Vice President of the ethics committee, Chairman for the Auditing Standards Committee and a member of the Board of Directors for the Consulting Services Committee of Saudi Organization of CPAs (SOCPA)
Currently he is the Chairman of Accounting Standards Committee. Dr. Mohammed also held the membership of Expert Group of the INTOSAI (International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions) and was an active member of the task force of IAASB (International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board), responsible for preparing ISA 265, Communicating Deficiencies in Internal Control
to Those Charged with Governance and Management.
